I tested the navigation within my website by having a mouse click from page to page and also a flow chart showing where each page should be linked to.
b) internal and external hyperlinks
I Tested hyperlinks by checking that the Royal Armouries page loaded from my website, when selecting the 'Buy' button
c) page load times
page load test was done on each page and was successful as the time was very instant. slower page load times mean that the website is less desirable and then loses traffic to the page which is essential to small companies like small machines. Also Search engines like Google use page load time in algorithms that determine search engine rankings, meaning they're more likely to guide shoppers to sites that load quickly
d) performance of website when using different browsers
there are no issues when using with different browsers or platforms and this had been tested by loading up all the same pages on each device and browser at the same time to see the difference, the only problem was internet explore slacking a bit
e) consistency of house style
the fonts and colours are consistent throughout as wix gives you a theme to apply to all pages to keep the house style consistent.
