LO2- Legal and Ethical
Copy Right
Copyright is one of the main types of intellectual property - others include designs, patents and trademarks. Intellectual property allows a person to own things they create in the same way as something physical can be owned. It is the right to prevent others copying or reproducing someone's work.
ASA
The Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) is the self-regulatory organisation (SRO) of the advertising industry in theUnited Kingdom. The ASA is a non-statutory organisation and so cannot interpret or enforce legislation. However, its code of advertising practice broadly reflects legislation in many instances. The ASA is not funded by the British government, but by a levy on the advertising industry.
ATAG 2.0 is a W3C Recommendation

"The Authoring Tool Accessibility Guidelines (ATAG) 2.0 was published today as a completed web standard. ATAG provides guidelines for designing web content authoring tools that are both more accessible to authors with disabilities (Part A) and designed to enable, support, and promote the production of more accessible web content by all authors (Part B). Selecting authoring tools that conform to ATAG 2.0 can facilitate the process of creating accessible Web content, and can also remove barriers to content creation by people with disabilities. Implementing ATAG 2.0 has been published as a Working Group Note to provide additional explanation, examples and resources for the ATAG 2.0 success criteria. (2015-09-24)"
Copyright- the legal right that is given to a creator of an original piece of work, therefore people must have permission to use it.
Inside my site, I will ensure that all the substance is unique and that Giles' image will be copyrighted so there will be no marking issues with regards to the marketing and promotion of Small Machines.
Copyright Infringement:The law you would be breaking if you used intellectual property without having permission
Legal and Ethical:The website will include images and information about the Small Machines products which I will need Giles' permission for so that there are no legal issues(copyright clearance). When it comes to the regulatory bodies the ASA (Advertising Standards Authority) there are a few regulations I must abide by in order to have no legal/ethical problems:- The website must not be misleading-The website must not contain unsafe practises and unfair pressure; pester power and sales promotion for children-The website must not contain practises of making 'green' claims for products or services, or cover evidence, the clarity of claims and 'life cycle' of product-I will also need to keep in mind the SSL Certificates. The SSL Certificates are small data files that digitally bind a cryptographic key to an organizations details. When installed on a web server, it activates the padlock and the https protocol and allows secure connections from a web server to a browser.
Commonly, SSL is utilized to secure charge card exchanges, information exchange and logins, and all the more as of late is turning into the standard when securing perusing of online networking destinations. Along these lines I would utilize it as a type of information assurance when it went to the exchanges, login and people groups individual data.

LO2 - Costings/ Budget
The costings for hiring web developers can range largely from how many pages are included, how complex the design is and wether there is a online shop and many other aspects. The average cost for a website from Manifest would be around £8,000. The time to create the average website is from one week to two, at the maximum.
Advertising is important and costing for advertising spaces can range from £100-£14000 depending on where and how it is advertised
